The FRWD@Bain team combines traditionally separate capabilities including data analysis, systems integration, media, and creative into a team of subject matter experts that works side-by-side with consulting case teams and internal client teams. FRWD currently has offices in Minneapolis, New York, London, Singapore, Munich and is now building out a hub in the Chicago area. *Please note that this position will be based in Minneapolis and will be a hybrid work from home/office role.


You are a marketing specialist who is ready to take on a challenge of media operations. You'll report into the Senior Director, Global Media Operations Excellence. 


We're looking for someone who is a self-starter, willing to build this newly established role by taking on management of media platform partnership, FRWD@Bain toolkit, and day-to-day media compliance across platforms. You'll learn to fully understand the media landscape from an operator’s point of view by helping to research and compare media partners and marketing landscape across the globe. You will also become a key support role team member for project work by pulling marketing reports, financial reconciliation, and platform access across all case teams. And most importantly, our Senior Associate, Global Media Operations takes contributing to a positive and healthy work place as a serious responsibility, whether that be through proactive encouragement of others, random goofiness, funny but informative mass emails to the team or is just plain awesome to work with.


Media Compliance & Best Practices:

  • Support and contribute to our overall operational media standards and practices globally, including brand safety, media auditing, and other core foundations of media activation
  • Support financial reconciliation and reporting across all media platforms
  • Resolve discrepancies with vendors and media teams to ensure reconciliation timelines
  • Manage strategic partnership platforms to full compliance across client, finance, and legal teams

FRWD@Bain Toolkit Management:

  • Support FRWD case teams (client-facing teams) by pulling data and campaigns reports across all FRWD toolkits and research partnerships. Tools include Kantar Media, comScore, GWI, Facebook, Google, and many others
  • Ongoing management of tools budget through reconciliation and vendor management across Americas, EMEA, and APAC regions
  • Proactively seeks out opportunities to continuously improve client campaigns
  • Synthesize detailed data into actionable insights and recommendations for case teams


  • Research and analyze media partners, tools, platforms, and new innovations to come to the market – be on the cutting edge of what’s happening in the industry
  • Ensure continual education among FRWD@Bain teams to ensure best practices and policies are being followed.


  • 2-3 years experience within the marketing space (preferably digital) 
  • Highly familiar with digital media platforms, including Google, Facebook, and Display. Certifications within Digital Media platforms a plus
  • Strong writing skills: attention to correct mechanics and grammar are a must
  • Loves to research and dives into subjects with direction
  • Exhibits accountability for the measurable success of programs, clients and agency capabilities
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Passion for technology, marketing and its influence on consumer behavior
  • Strong communication and time management skills
  • Must be detail-oriented, very organized, and a multi-tasker
