The Manager, Tax & Compliance role is responsible for managing all business and employment taxation matters for a highly mobile workforce within a company currently undergoing an ambitious period of growth, both locally and globally. The London office will include approximately 1000 employees by year-end including local general consulting and business support functions, regional and corporate employees. This role includes the provision of technical tax support within the Finance department to the Payroll and Benefits team, Revenue team and Accounting team. In doing so the role will work closely with both the Global Tax team and local Senior Finance Director and Senior Finance Managers responsible for Accounting, Revenue and Payroll, on all tax and statutory reporting for the London office entities. They will ensure all Senior Managers understand and fulfil the compliance obligations within their roles, ensuring adequate processes and controls are in place, mitigating risk. This role will be hands on, initially running all reporting in order to fully understand the business and how data is captured and reported by the various finance software systems.
The Manager, Tax & Compliance will be responsible for ensuring the above is executed to the highest possible standard, looking for continual process improvements as the company continues to grow, reporting directly to the Senior Finance Director.

The successful candidate should have at least 5+ year’s financial experience, be a qualified accountant (ACA, CTA or equivalent). The position requires a detail-oriented person who can process numerical information with speed and accuracy. The candidate must have an ability to work to strict deadlines together with the ability to communicate professionally with all levels of staff both internally and externally, and show a flexible attitude to their workload. They will be able to effectively manage and prioritise multiple tasks and problem solve along the way, working collaboratively with their peers.
