Based in our Global Business Services (GBS) in Warsaw, the role is to perform autonomously and with a very high level of expertise in all Professional Development areas of EMEA HR Operations. Professional growth will be driven by the breadth of offices you can support (may depend on language skills, outside of English) and depth of expertise in areas of EMEA HR operations.


The Specialist EMEA HR - Floater may be assigned to different offices, even several offices at once if need be and capacity allows, for mid- to long-term support. Each office assignment may cover some or all of the tasks identified below, or even specific tasks not in the list below. In case no offices from the region require assistance with Professional Development process at the given moment, the Specialist EMEA HR - Floater may be assigned some other tasks and responsibilities, which include recruiting support, employee administration etc.




  • Managing every stage of the Performance Review and Upward Feedback processes for different Offices in the EMEA region
  • Collecting multiple inputs (case reviews, asset buildings, self-assessments) to help leaders provide a synthesized performance message
  • Helping to develop skills and capabilities for local/global employees
  • Creating presentations in power point for various HR meetings
  • Assessing performance of the Bain Management on key people dimensions (Upward Feedback process)
  • Supporting mentor/sponsor programs
  • Conducting Case Team status updates, providing an opening for discussion for case teams about the case experience, giving leadership team an opportunity to make adjustments, creating visibility for the office and HR/PD leadership to step in to support teams as needed 
  • Supporting local/global training tailored to employee’s development needs
  • Supporting the transfer process, helping build local employee’s portfolio and network within the global Bain system
  • Working on process improvements, sharing best practices within offices from the EMEA region
  • Attending regular team calls

  • University Degree or equivalent level of education
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in the HR administrative field
  • Experience of working in a demanding environment, preferably professional services or with a blue chip company in an administrative capacity
  • Knowledge of HRIS systems
  • Fluent English at C2 level (or Cambridge Certificate of Proficiency in English)
  • Fluent at C1 level in any other language of operation will be a plus
  • Computer literacy; proficient in using Microsoft Outlook, Word & Internet along with good Excel, PowerPoint skills and strong typing skills
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Motivated and a self starter
  • Excellent communication and listening skills
