  • Position Summary:

    Responsible for accurate and timely calculation, processing and distribution of US payrolls including execution of payroll changes, manual entries, pro-rated payments, tax computations and benefit deductions utilizing Workday in-house payroll system.


    Review and analyze entries relating to bonuses, transfers, new hires and terminations. Provide comprehensive customer service to employees at all levels.  Ensure compliance with all internal policies and procedures.

    Responsibilities & Duties:

    • Analyze US payroll adjustments to pay for approval and entry including employee status changes, benefit deductions, taxable fringe benefits, loan collection, vacation balance tracking, leave of absence, new hires, transfers, terminations and any other payroll related entries.
    • Audit input entered by regional and global HR in the Workday payroll/HRIS software, communicate and correct as needed.
    • Maintain the flow of documentation for payroll changes including clear and open communication with internal departments to ensure accuracy and timeliness of payroll changes.
    • Respond to employee inquiries regarding pay calculations, taxes, deductions and benefits.
    • Ensure that transactions are processed in compliance with internal policies and procedures as well as government agency regulations.
    • Develop specialized knowledge of tax issues, payroll reporting, Workday software as well as other payroll and accounting systems through active participation in job training and seminars as needed. Actively participate in team projects.
    • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned or as responsibilities dictate.


    • Bachelor’s degree required, preferrably in accounting/finance
    • 1 - 3  years of payroll experience required
    • Ability to work effectively in a deadline oriented environment
