  • Bain & Company Australia is looking for an extraordinary individual to join our high-performing Recruitment Team as a Campus Recruiter for a contract period (immediate start available).


    You will be supported and work closely with a diverse group of stakeholders that will help implement and execute the recruitment strategy alongside you. The stakeholders include to the broader Recruitment Team, AC Program Leads & Recruiting Partner, HR/PD team and members of the consulting staff who have recruiting responsibilities. 

    A detailed breakdown of the role:


    Marketing and Presentations

    • Update marketing materials to reflect local brand and messaging
    • Collaborate directly with Graphics to create both soft and hard copy print
    • Review and update on campus presentation materials to reflect current messaging
    • Create presentation training materials for presenters
    • Coordinate large scale presentations at target universities, including recommending presenters and attendees
    • Attend presentations in key capital cities
    • Develop strong relationships with Careers Offices, and co-ordinate careers office visits
    • Collaborate on Recruiting LT to develop overall strategy for campus activities and manage the organisation of supporting logistics
    • Act as main point of contact for candidates

    Applications process/screening

    • Maintain all candidate files and ensuring all files are updated in a timely manner
    • Generates reports, for both local and global requests, and analysis of recruiting data as needed
    • Manage internal referral process for graduate candidates and pipeline management
    • Lead CV screening process improvements in collaboration with Program Lead
    • Maintain CV screening guidelines and coordinate the CV screening process.
    • Liaise with industry recruiter on ad-hoc applications
    • Agree final interview list with Program Lead and recommend interview candidates
    • Correspond with applicants and respond to candidate queries


    • Undertake interview process improvement in collaboration with Recruiting VP
    • Update interviewer training materials and liaise with Program Lead to ensure all interviewers are trained
    • Own all interviewer case materials and manage the case interview approval process
    • Set up & manage interview schedules, select interviewers, run debriefing meetings, determine next step decisions and manage the communication of outcomes to candidates
    • Compile and distribute recruit interviewer packages
    • Communicate with candidates as necessary as the main point of contact
    • Occasional travel between Sydney & Melbourne offices (Brisbane, Perth & Canberra will be required for campus presentations) to facilitate presentations and interview days
    • Arranges hotel and travel as necessary


    Closing process

    • Manage AC and all off cycle offeree events. Plan program agenda, manage all event logistics, schedule speakers/dinner hosts, assign one-on-one meetings
    • Coordinate the closing process and track communication throughout process
    • Create closing teams for each offeree in collaboration with Program Lead
    • Provide regular updates to Recruiting LT on closing yields



    • Create process feedback avenues to capture feedback on all aspects of process
    • Compile feedback and analyse season efforts – make recommendations on changes
    • Document proposed changes to be implemented during following season
    • Present feedback and changes to Recruiting LT
    • Create office wide update materials and present findings during quarterly office meetings


    On-boarding of new hires

    • Provide HR with a debrief of new hires and support the staffing process
    • Collaborate with HR on colleague recommendations
    • Be available to greet new hires and assist their integration
    • Maintain connections with new hires and be a sounding board for them during their transition to Bain


    Ongoing responsibilities

    • Responsible for building overall AC recruiting calendar, providing detailed planning for all events and activities
    • Manage resourcing plan – tracking staff contributions to recruiting and providing annual feedback to the LT on contributions
    • Create, track and manage the recruiting spend for the AC program and refine quarterly based on budget and spend
    • Execute on seasonal priorities and work with consulting staff to run projects
    • Provide review inputs for consulting staff

    The ideal candidate will have experience in a high volume / fast paced environment with 2+ years' in a recruitment coordinator / campus / university role. Exprience in a professional / financial services is a plus, but not a must.


    Qualifications & Experience:

    • Must be an Australian/New Zealand citizen or independently hold work rights for Australia
    • Bachelor’s degree preferred
    • At least 3 years’ School recruiting co-ordination experience in the Australian & New Zealand region, which includes
      • Event management
      • Stakeholder and relationship management
      • Knowledge of Australian University system is desirable 
    • Strong computer literacy (Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel) and database management
