    The M&A and Divestitures Practice is a global capability practice. Our solutions and products support client portfolio transformations across the M&A cycle: M&A Strategy, Due Diligence (for Corporates), Transaction Support, Merger Integration and Divestitures.     The Global Merger Integration Practice Consultant will join a high performing team that is delivering exceptional results for Bain in a collaborative and proactive manner.     The Global MI Practice Consultant will play a critical role in supporting the EMEA M&A business and Merger Integration solution at Bain.


    • Commercial responsibilities will include implementing global commercial and sales support toolkit with EMEA, with a focus on supporting Merger Integration client development and proposal activity. The Practice Consultant may also play an advisory role on proposals and case teams.


    • Product development and management responsibilities will include contributing to and/or leading IP initiatives to develop or reinvent Bain’s Merger Integration POV, approach, digital tools and/ or delivery model. The Practice Consultant will serve as product manager for selected MI products, for example Revenue / Go-to-Market Integration or Supply Chain/Ops Integration – developing deep expertise, leading related initiatives and maintaining a product backlog. In addition, the MI Practice Consultant will support case teams in mobilizing and serving MI projects.


    • Digital tools Practice Consultant will directly support the development, commercialization, and delivery of Bain’s digital MI tools within the EMEA and APAC regions, in particular the Bain Integrator. Activities include leading client demos, on-boarding case teams, and informing the product roadmap.


    • Strategy & operational responsibilities include supporting initiatives to implement and support the EMEA M&A practice’s strategic agenda. This includes supporting affiliate engagement, regional meetings, regional practice strategy and planning, and operational initiatives.


    The Global Merger Integration Practice Consultant reports to the EMEA Practice Manager. The person will regularly interact and collaborate with the broader M&A and Divestiture leadership team.


    This person will work closely with the global M&A practice team across regions, products, and levels and may manage some junior practice team members, such as Next-gen tool specialists, Practice Analysts and Knowledge Specialists. The PAC will also be part of a tight, collaborative community of global PACs, creating a team of peers with which to collaborate, learn from and experience-share


    The position requires solid performance on problem solving, client results, and extraordinary teaming. The Practice Consultant is expected to demonstrate a steady upward trajectory in the depth and scope of his/her contributions.


    The Global Practice Consultant can be based out of any office in EMEA. Some travel may be required for coordination purposes. This Practice Consultant position is full-time, although part-time (e.g. 80%) or rotational (e.g. 6 months) candidates may be considered.  





    Key Candidate Qualifications

    • Current or recent Bain consulting experience at the Consultant or CTL level
    • MBA or master’s degree with outstanding academic credentials preferred, but not required
    • Experience or interest in the industry or capability
    • Knowledge of, and practice experience with, the leading business and analytic tools used by Bain
    • Ability to structure and lead complex business research and analysis in fast-paced environment, as well as the skills to drive to pragmatic business insights
    • Demonstrated problem solving and organizational skills, and is a proven self-starter (comfortable with what could be a remote supervisor and team)
    • Strong communication skills and ability to establish credibility with senior leaders
    • Ability to operate independently and manage competing priorities with minimal supervision
    • Experience and proficiency creating high quality presentations
