    We are currently seeking an outstanding Project Manager to join our Global Recruiting Marketing team and help us manage a broad array of projects from kick-off to delivery. This person will be instrumental in coordinating our team of brand experts, digital marketers and recruiting specialists to effectively deliver on our mission and serve our recruiting teams around the globe. They will serve as the marketing team point person for many of our projects with our recruiting team customers around the globe.     Our Global Recruiting Marketing team is small and entrepreneurial. We have grown our capabilities by multiples over the last few years and are excited to bring on a Project Manager who can help us scale our work across the globe and across many cross-functional teams. We are a lean, tight-knit team with a strongly innovative spirit. We have driven many innovations across our global recruiting efforts at Bain and are looking for someone with that same spirit to join us!

    Essential Functions:


    Serve as a project manager for the following:

    • Global, cross-functional recruiting marketing campaigns (see preliminary list below), with specific tasks including:
      • Help ideate and develop campaign strategy alongside the brand, digital marketing and recruiting experts on our team
      • Facilitate cross-functional marketing meetings to drive project forward, including planning and driving agenda
      • Create and maintain project workplan, identifying specific deliverables, deadlines and responsible owners across our team; continue to execute the workplan throughout project, ensuring deliverables are created and delivered effectively
      • Develop basic understanding of each recruiting marketing team member’s area of expertise; work to translate team’s capabilities into plan and action for each campaign
      • Act as key contact for project outside our team, communicating with any other Bain stakeholders related to project
      • Assist in content creation for the campaigns when appropriate, working with internal and external creative resources to do so
    • Production, editing and strategic use of photos and videos for recruiting marketing
      • Help identify and develop strategy for photo/video needs for the team (i.e. for use online, on social media, at recruiting events) to bring our recruiting message and broader firm brand to life
      • Coordinate internal and external vendors who create the photo/video collateral (i.e. photographers, videographers)
      • Maintain digital collateral in effective library, including serving as expert and point of contact for identifying relevant collateral for recruiting use
    • Ideation and execution of recruiting marketing collateral
      • Manage request process for recruiting graphics materials, including coordinating incoming requests through appropriate graphic designer resources and/or sharing appropriate off-the-shelf content
      • Manage annual recruiting gift order process, including working with recruiting leaders to ideate the gift selection in line with firm branding guidelines and communicating with external vendors and internal recruiting teams to execute order process
    • Project manage marketing branding efforts, including but not limited to coordinating independent external research and recruiting brand projects
      • Work alongside Senior Manager on team to develop external research workplan and assist in creating relevant content (i.e. research scripts, questionnaires, post-research summaries, etc)
      • Communicate with research vendors to schedule research and coordinate all logistics; includes opportunity to observe research
      • Coordinate brand-related projects to ensure broader firm brand guidelines are communicated to and incorporated into all our recruiting marketing materials; work alongside brand/design experts internally to understand creative aspects of the brand and translate into effective communication to recruiting team
    • Special projects for our marketing team (similar project management tasks as campaigns above)
    • Build and maintain impactful relationships with our recruiting peers and customers, Corporate Marketing colleagues and external vendors

    Preliminary list of owned marketing campaigns (examples include):

    • Regional campaigns that our team supports, but doesn’t own across MBA, AC, Industry, Advanced Degree and Technology & Analytics hiring, among others (e.g. Bainworks in EMEA, Bridge to APAC events, etc)
    • Employee profiles – coordinate with employees around the globe to create their digital profile as part of our ‘Meet Our People’ campaign
    • International Women’s Day
    • Major diversity campaigns, including but not limited to marketing partnerships for pre-MBA recruits (e.g. Jumpstart, MLT, AfroTech) and branding campaigns on our digital platforms for things like Hispanic Heritage Month, Black History Month, National Coming Out Day


    • Bachelor’s Degree
    • 3+ years of corporate or agency marketing and/or recruiting experience
    • Entrepreneurially-minded self-starter who instinctively takes ownership of a project; a detail-oriented person with the proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team environment.
    • Deep understanding and passion for effective project management.
    • Must be highly organized, global-thinking, deadline driven and able to multi-task.
    • Must have strong customer relations mindset, experience preferable.
    • Must have strong verbal, written and presentation skills plus be able to confidently communicate with senior employees.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint and Excel.


    • Interest in recruiting and/or marketing ideal.
    • Basic understanding of and interest in digital marketing (online, social media) a plus, but not required.
    • Limited travel may be required, with advanced planning.
