Bain is currently looking to take its commercial operations capabilities to the next level, with the ambition of raising partner productivity and transforming how Bain creates and captures demand for its products and sells impactful, scale engagements at its most important clients. The Commercial Applications Product Manager is fundamental to meeting this ambition by helping Bain stay ahead of the curve in deploying best-of-breed technology and analytic capabilities. The Commercial Applications Product Manager will ensure there is a robust commercial application ecosystem and data infrastructure that effectively supports account teams across the globe as well as leadership across Bain’s industry practices and regions. .
This role will report to the Commercial Operations Senior Director and will work closely with the Commercial Operations Manager. While the team is being stood up you will work closely with Global Industry Practices Leader.

Responsibilities & Duties
The Commercial Applications Product Manager is responsible for identifying the business requirements and systems/data architecture to enable more efficient and effective outcomes for front line partners, account teams, commercial management and the commercial operations back office. This role will translate business needs into commercial data, technology and analytics requirements and will work closely with Bain’s industry practice areas, regions, key functions (e.g., Finance and Human Resources) and the Technology Services Group (TSG). The role will initially focus on defining the business requirements for commercial data infrastructure and implementing prioritized applications, systems and analytics. In the longer term, this role will focus on providing the applications and data to enable the commercial operations team to deliver more advanced capabilities (e.g., machine learning on unstructured data sets to optimize go-to-market strategies and priorities.)
Owning the commercial data, applications and tools strategy and business architecture: Identify key use cases for commercial data, analytics and applications, and maintain and prioritize the roadmap for building the corresponding data, applications and infrastructure needed to deliver these.
