    Position Summary

    This role will be an integral part of the consultant recruiting program, focused on industry/experienced hire recruiting and on management of all Bain recruiting activities at select graduate campuses. The role will provide support for the global recruiting team, for local offices, and for practice areas in the strategic design, development, management, and execution of recruiting programs to attract and hire the best talent from these sources. We anticipate growth in this role over time given that both the industry recruiting channel and the campus recruiting channel will need ongoing creativity and innovation. Our expectation is that this individual will grow into an important leader on our recruiting team.



    Industry Recruiting (~70%)

    • Develop the Industry Recruiting strategy for each year (along each stage of the recruiting funnel – market/target/screen/hire), working closely with the Manager in the department
    • Coordinate/execute marketing events and programs for relevant target populations, including both webinars and live events (outreach, selection process, event management, etc.)
    • Coordinate sourcing of candidates across channels – referrals, LinkedIn, job boards, etc.
    • Lead candidate selection process. Pull, screen, and distribute candidate resumes for additional review on a regular basis, working closely with the Manager in the department, with local office teams, and with practice area leadership. Set up interview schedules, correspond with interviewers and candidates, ensure interview days run smoothly, manage debrief logistics.
    • Manage all recruiting system updates related to Industry Consultant candidates and utilize system for data entry/tracking, event management, and reporting
    • Manage communication with Industry candidates from all sources, especially via the Consultant Industry Recruiting inbox. Respond to all inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
    • Support closing and onboarding efforts across offerees
    • Coordinate communication across office and practice area teams on evolving recruiting priorities and initiatives, working closely with the Manager in the department
    • Support hiring and onboarding for Spring start date(s)
    • Support team recruiting events/screening/interviews for other sources –i.e. Advanced Degree, non-US schools – throughout the year as needed
    • Prepare materials on results/best practices to share with firm leadership and with the APAC and EMEA recruiting teams, working closely with the Manager


    MBA Recruiting (~30%)

    • Develop the on-campus recruiting strategy for each year across both intern and full-time hiring, working closely with the school Recruiting Manager/VP
    • Manage the on-campus recruiting marketing, strategy, and operations; coordinate the on-campus Bain representatives; schedule presentations and events; develop relationships with the Career Center; act as a key contact for students and for Bain alumni on-campus
    • Manage candidate selection process; review and screen candidate resumes with consulting staff selection teams and set up interview schedules
    • Coordinate and manage the interview teams, including scheduling, communication, and interview day logistics; work with school team and office teams to run debrief meetings, determine next step decisions, and manage the communication with candidates
    • Support closing efforts across offerees, working closely with the relevant local office teams
    • Utilize recruiting systems for data entry/tracking, event management and reporting related to on-campus efforts/candidates


    Additional Responsibilities

    • Evaluate success of recruiting efforts/processes; prepare, analyze, and present data on overall recruiting success, results by school, source, etc. and use findings to provide input to recruiting programs and future strategy
    • Help build and manage recruiting budgets. Plan and execute events according to budget. Help Manager/Core School team track department expenses and flag issues.
    • Provide support on new and ongoing Global Recruiting projects





    • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management, Psychology, Liberal Arts, a related field, or an equivalent combination of education plus, training and experience is required
    • A minimum of two years’ experience in a professional office environment is required - exposure to human resources management and/or working in a consulting environment a plus. Campus recruiting experience is highly preferred
    • Excellent interpersonal, communication (written and verbal) and project management skills
    • Advanced organizational skills – must be meticulous to details without losing sight of broader needs/activities. Ability to monitor and manage multiple inputs and multiple parties simultaneously with extreme precision. Proactive leadership is a must
    • Ability to represent Bain to prospective candidates and interact with senior Bain management
    • Ability to work productively both independently and as part of a team
    • Ability to deal with highly confidential information in a professional/mature manner
    • Ability to travel several times a year for events/interviews; may include international travel
    • Comprehensive knowledge of personal computers and their software applications is required
