    About the role

     

    Bain's Next-Generation Product Management (NGPM) team has been set up to help Industry and Capability Practice areas turbocharge their Intellectual Property in new ways, including through use of technology tools (Technology Product Management), Benchmarks, and new Delivery models.

    Responsibilities

    • Being a Data Visualization expert on a wide variety of cases in terms of tactical help and strategic investments,
    • Communicating effectively with analytics/data experts and consultants to assess and design optimal data visuals, applying user experience principles,
    • Dealing with a wide range of data types, and know how to manipulate them to get them into the right shape for the desired visualization goals,
    • Collaborating with and educate both senior and junior colleagues to further embed data visualization best practices and related analytics across the firm and for our clients,
    • Designing and creating interactive and dynamic data visualizations, presentations dashboards with user interfaces and infographics,
    • Rapidly generating fully functional dashboards,

    Qualifications

    • 3-6 years of experience in data analysis and visualization,
    • Higher education, preferably in statistics, math, economics, data science, computer science or engineering, or data visualization theory,
    • Proficient English skills (at least C1 level),
    • Strong knowledge of color theory, visual hierarchies and design principals,
    • Experience with Tableau and in manipulating data with SQL, R and Python,
    • Experience in dealing with large databases (Terabytes) of structured and unstructured data (pictures, text, audio),
    • Strong communication skills.
