By gathering information from key business partners and internal systems, you will support the data driven decisions that drive key aspects of Bain’s operations and strategy. Responsibilities will be engaging, varied and challenging, but will include developing and analyzing annual financial plans for various parts of the business. You will then support our management team by tracking against those financial plans, highlighting and explaining variances and recommending potential actions to address business issues. This will require you to gain an understanding of not just the financials, but also the strategic and operational goals of key business segments. When additional information is needed, you will help develop and implement new financial systems that allow for the right data to be tracked and analyzed. You will also help our senior business leaders look at their teams through a more strategic lens, developing longer term plans that help them achieve their most important business goals. When our management team meets to make the most important decisions for our business, you will help with the analysis and presentation materials that allow them to make the most informed choices. As your skill set grows you will innovate on ways to analyze the business and proactively recommend changes that will help continue Bain’s long term track record of success in our industry.
