    We are currently seeking a proactive, ‘go-getter’ to manage and help improve upon our Global Recruiting social media channel strategy and execution. If you are interested in translating a global brand into social media content and campaigns, looking for a broad range of responsibilities, have an eye for detail, and have a natural affinity for engaging with audiences, then this may be the perfect job for you.  Success in this role requires a combination of skills that span content, analysis, and management.  Growth in this role comes as the Specialist develops new strategies for an increasingly complex landscape for social media and recruiting.


    • Manage all social media channels focused on the recruit audience, including our LinkedIn Careers page, all global Facebook accounts, and Instagram; requires:
      • Developing a strategy for the growth and focus each of our Global channels and accounts
      • Creating original content, crafting copy and building campaigns, with support from internal design teams, that reflect our employer brand and messaging
      • Collaborating with other social media and recruiting teams (e.g. PR/Editorial, Diversity recruiting, Women at Bain, local office recruiting) to leverage existing and/or create original content and campaigns targeted at target recruit population(s)
      • Executing posts (with support) using publication tools
      • Overseeing accounts’ design (e.g. Facebook timeline cover, profile pictures and blog layout)
    • Serve as Bain’s Social Media Community Manager; requires:
      • Managing the global community that owns Bain’s different social media accounts – includes running regular social media ownership calls, to share analytics, facilitate experience sharing and enhance collaboration on content, campaigns and test & learn opportunities
      • Regularly advising account owners on strategy and execution
      • Driving collaboration across owners to create/leverage content and campaigns
      • Helping accounts stay aligned with our brand and ownership standards (i.e. activity level, following, content quality) and manage any potential issues
    • Develop an approach for engaging in social media platforms that rely on user-generated content and discussions
      • Maintain a POV on additional social media channels or accounts in line with target recruit population(s)
      • Manage all social listening activities related to the recruit population, including monitoring all social media recruiting accounts and other public forums to understand trending topics among recruit population
      • Selectively engage with users to strengthen our brand message and correct any potential brand tarnishing
    • Report on all social media analytics for Bain’s recruiting social media accounts, delivering regular dashboard analysis of day-to-day posts, campaigns and social listening sphere; requires:
      • Collaborating with Corporate Marketing team to gather and include regular analysis from client population perspective
      • Communicating analytics regularly to all relevant global account owners
      • Using analytics in real-time to drive strategic action
    • Strategically increase high quality following of recruiting accounts to amplify our social voice and increase engagement


    • 3+ years social media / marketing experience preferred. Experience in a professional services firm highly desirable.
    • Proven experience of the content curation development process, strategy through to execution. If you have previous examples of social media content or campaign development, we’d love to see it.
    • Understanding and passion for online and social media marketing tactics.
    • Must be team oriented, have strong verbal, written and presentation skills.
    • Must have experience in social media management tools – familiarity with Sprinklr a plus.
    • Must be deadline driven, organized, zero-defect and able to multi-task.
    • Must have strong customer service skills.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office – familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite and/or Google Analytics a strong plus.
    • Proven integrated experience across social media channels (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, and YouTube).
    • Bachelor’s degree required.
