As a member of the Texas Recruiting Team, this position provides support for the Houston and Dallas offices in the strategic design, development, management, and execution of the recruiting programs for consulting-level staff.
Support development of the recruiting strategy for each year and provide input on year-to-year strategic approach.
Help develop annual recruiting calendar and schedule formal and informal campus events including presentations, receptions and dinners. Recommend timing of events and provide input on increasing effectiveness of events.
Develop and establish relationships with Career Centers at locally managed schools and act as a key contact for Bain alumni on-campus.
Coordinate the candidate selection process. Participate in the review and screening of candidate resumes. Set up interview schedules, select interviewers, run debriefing meetings, determine next step decisions and manage the communication to candidates. Coordinate offer and closing process.
Coordinate Offeree Weekends and Summer Associate Program. Plan program agenda, manage event logistics, schedule speakers/dinner hosts, assign one-on-one meetings, and coordinate professional development activities and communications. Coordinate timing of performance evaluations and delivery of final offers.
Evaluate success of recruiting season; prepare and analyze statistics on overall office recruiting success, results by school, source, etc. Use findings to provide input to future recruiting programs and strategy.
Oversee development of specific school plans and diversity plans, by training and supporting School Team Leads and diversity teams.
Work with Recruiting Manager to create the recruiting budget. Track department expenses and flag issues. Conduct special budget projects as needed.
Work closely with other Bain North America and Bain Global recruiting coordinators to address regional changes/strategies, and share best practices.
Utilize Avature (Bain Recruiting System), for data entry, event management, and reporting.
Contribute to regular status updates and presentations to office recruiting leadership.
Perform other duties and projects as assigned or as responsibilities dictate.
Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management, Psychology, Liberal Arts, related field, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
Experience in a professional office environment is required; exposure to human resources management and/or working in a consulting environment a plus. Campus recruiting experience is highly preferred.
Excellent interpersonal, communication (written and verbal) and project management skills.
Advanced organizational skills – must be meticulous to details without losing sight of broader needs/activities. Ability to monitor and manage multiple inputs and multiple parties simultaneously with extreme precision. Proactive leadership is a must.
Ability to represent Bain to prospective candidates and interact with senior Bain management.
Ability to work productively both independently and as part of a team
Ability to deal with highly confidential information in a professional/mature manner
Ability to multi-task and prioritize among multiple priorities is needed.
Comprehensive knowledge of personal computers and their software applications is required (experience with PowerPoint, Excel and Word strongly preferred).
Flexibility with hours; ability to work overtime and evenings as needed (as well as a few weekends per year)
