  • Overview

    This position has responsibility for Bain’s general HR system (Workday) administration, maintenance, configuration, end user support and training.  This person will work closely with other members of the Workday support team and global user base to meet the HR system needs of the firm.

    Responsibilities

    • Support existing Workday modules
      • Point of contact for end-user/customer base
      • Critically assess system issues and develop creative solutions
      • Communicate and follow-up with end-users and other internal stakeholders
    • Develop Workday reports and dashboards, including understanding and specifying end-user needs
    • First point of contact for questions and training requests from cross-functional global user base
    • Identify and organize specialized training and support for Workday users, specifically around new or changing functionality
      • Identify training needs outside of new hire training
      • Develop training materials and keep them up to date
      • Perform live/Webex training sessions with system users as necessary
    • Participate in the specification, implementation, and rollout of new Workday modules and enhancements
    • Troubleshoot Workday system issues and raise tickets with vendor when required
    • Participate in semi-annual system upgrades
    • Other duties or system support as needed

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree with high academic achievement or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience is required
    • Minimum of one-year experience in a business environment preferred
    • HRIS administration experience required, Workday experience strongly preferred
    • Strong problem solving skills related to system and technology support
    • Strong interpersonal, communication and organization skills
      • Ability to juggle multiple priorities and meet deadlines
      • Strong written and oral communication skills
      • Strong process skills of follow up and follow through
    • Superior judgment when dealing with highly confidential information
    • Ability to work productively both independently and as an integral member of various teams
    • Ability to function in a fast paced environment, under pressure, remaining flexible, proactive, resourceful and efficient, with the highest levels of professionalism
    • Comprehensive knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint
