The Private Equity (PE) Practice is a global practice that helps private equity firms, sovereign wealth funds and other financial investors to realize value across the investment value chain―from investment strategy, deal generation and screening, through to due diligence and portfolio company value creation. In the past decade, Bain has advised on half of all global buyout transactions valued at more than $500 million. Bain’s Private Equity practice is more than triple the size of the next largest consulting company serving PE firms. PE consulting at Bain has grown six-fold over the past 15 years and now represents about one-quarter of the firm’s global business.
This position is a full-time role supporting our Private Equity Practice with a focus on the Americas region. Our preferred location is Boston.
Knowledge Specialists play a critical role in supporting Bain’s ability to deliver outstanding results for our clients. We are looking for an individual who has a strong interest in working to optimize knowledge capture operations and support, can run our end-to-end knowledge management processes, play a leadership role in coordinating with other practices, and work closely with the Practice team on projects supporting operations and product development.
Coordinate and manage the capture and sharing of Bain’s PE practice knowledge base.
Help arm Partners and other members of the consulting staff with Bain’s best intellectual property.
Support the Practice Leadership and Practice Managers as they execute the practice strategy and manage practice operations.
Serve as a member of Bain’s global Product, Practice & Knowledge department, in line with Bain’s Operating Principles.
