    The Role

    The role is to provide high quality graphics assistance including day-to-day slide production, high-end speaker driven presentation development, and other specialized graphics asks to support consulting and non-consulting staff across Bain offices. This support can be provided locally or remotely, according to Bain’s capacity management strategy. In  addition, the Senior Specialist is expected to lead and shape local, regional and global standards and functions as well as to be recognized and sought after beyond his/her office (regionally or globally) in his/her field of specialization.

     

    The role is varied, since in addition to graphics production, support should include at least one field of expertise such as Training, High-end presentation development, or Specialized graphics. The role is also deadline-driven, and demands exceptional time management and attention to detail. This position requires high level of proficiency in Microsoft Office within a PC Windows operating environment.

     

    The Graphics Senior Specialist needs excellent interpersonal skills. The ability to forge strong and successful working relationships without face to face interaction is essential.

     

    Customer satisfaction and Productivity are measured and used both for professional development and performance evaluation purposes. Sense of service and ability to create additional demand through quality of delivery is paramount for this position.

     

    Responsibilities

    Production of presentation graphics using Bain software and tools
    Being viewed as a functional area expert in one of the specializations:

     

    Training, delivering trainings for the new hires

     
    High-end presentation development, work as part of a Plus team as a Designer, managed by a Creative Lead, to provide design support for high-end presentations

     
    Specialized Graphics, including but not limited to:

    Proposals (Word documents with embedded graphics material)
    Print and digital design
    E-learning
    Online
    Surveys
    Video
    Motion Graphics
    Photography
    Illustration
    Apps design

     
    Graphics services delivery to selected supported offices within the region, including but not limited to:

    Local office Graphics liaison for day-to-day operations and service levels
    Client chargebacks
    Dashboard/reporting

     
    Shaping and leading one of the above specified functional areas of expertise
    Developing other team members within the area of expertise
    Definition and contribution to global/regional standards and strategies, advising on layout, design, and technical solutions available to maximize visual impact of graphics
    Communication with consultants and staff to produce work that is timely, accurate, and meets Bain corporate standards, handling escalations
    Accountability for personal output quality, on time delivery, customer communications
    Quality checks of other Team Members output
    Coordination, prioritization and facilitation of workflow to other Team Members in absence of the Team Leader and Manager
    Expert level Graphics troubleshooting support for PowerPoint to Team Members and to clients
    Leading helpdesk support function, troubleshooting and escalating technical issues to the tools developers and product support teams within Bain or outside
    Active role in mentoring and coaching less experienced team members
    Adhesion to Bain Operating Principles - Results, Teamwork, Professionalism

     

     

    Qualifications

    Essential
     

    In-depth technical expertise in Microsoft Office – PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook
    In-depth technical expertise in other software and tools relative to the area of expertise
    Proven portfolio of work in the area of expertise
    Minimum of 6 years experience working within a demanding corporate environment, preferably at a professional services or blue chip company
     
    Desired
     

    Bachelor’s degree required
    Experienced in public speaking, tutoring, and/or training
