The Marketing Coordinator, Lead Management will work collaboratively with Bain’s Digital Marketing team to identify and nurture new business opportunities and inquiries submitted via the firm’s global corporate website, Bain.com. This individual will utilize sales and market knowledge along with diligent research to determine appropriate opportunities, and proactively communicate, follow up, and track them through with internal stakeholders. Proper documentation of inbound requests and monitoring trends that drive business outcomes are key to success in this role.

 

The ideal candidate is professional, resourceful, internet savvy, detail oriented, and possesses a technical aptitude for online tools and research. The ideal candidate also has excellent writing and communication skills, and the ability to clearly synthesize research.

 

Additionally, this role will be tasked with a variety of research, dashboards/reporting, and data analysis projects to support Bain’s digital marketing campaign investments. As the digital ecosystem continues to evolve, there will be valuable experiential learning opportunities and the chance to be involved with truly integrated marketing campaigns across a number of Bain’s departments and core offerings.

Responsibilities

  • Clearly synthesize online business and company research to assist client facing teams with selling process
    • Nurture inbound business inquiries from Bain.com with flawless professional service and strong collaboration with other relevant Bain teams
    • Clearly synthesize online business research to assist client facing teams with selling process
    • Proactively and diligently project manage the follow up process to ensure each and every inquiry is met with professional excellence
    • Track scoring and lead progress with Marketo, our marketing automation tool, and proactively surface opportunities for engagement
    • Identify new and existing relationships with Microsoft Dynamics, our CRM database, and ensure proper input and tracking of data
  • Collaborate with Bain’s digital marketing team to help monitor a variety of paid media campaigns to track high impact engagement
    • Understand basics of how to utilize Bain’s suite of digital marketing tools
    • Assist with creating and maintaining marketing metrics dashboards that track marketing effectiveness
    • Perform research and data analysis projects to support read out of marketing impact and results
  • Provide support for other special projects and responsibilities as needed

    • Assist with tracking and optimizing the Bain Insights app, including working directly with our agency as needed

    • Help monitor a variety of paid media campaigns to track high impact engagement

  • Leverage any opportunity possible to learn about the consulting industry and Bain’s offerings to help drive demand for our market-leading products and solutions

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in either Business, Marketing, Communications or related field, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience is required
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a service environment dealing with the public and/or businesses
  • Prior experience working with senior level customers/clients, and proven ability to communicate clearly and professionally with executives in written form
  • Self-starter with insatiable curiosity, can-do attitude and work ethic
  • Team player willing to dive in and help whenever needed
  • Attention to detail, effective time management, commitment to high quality work and follow up
  • Able to learn quickly, multi-task and work both independently and with a team
  • Strong PC skills and proficiency with Office applications (Outlook, Powerpoint, Word, Excel); Familiarity with marketing automation and CRM platforms and Google Analytics a huge plus.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a strong customer focus; Specific interest in digital marketing, data analysis and lead generation a plus
  • Experience working in a professional services firm or B2B context highly desirable
