Marketing Coordinator (70%) - support design and implementation of the Atlanta office’s local alumni and marketing strategy and other regional efforts, including client development support, under supervision of the local office Marketing Manager and Marketing Partner.


Executive Assistant (30%) - perform diversified administrative duties for one Partner, including written and verbal correspondence, meeting and calendar management, coordination and arrangement of travel schedules, weekly time and expense reporting, and other related duties as required. Work with other EAs in a team environment to provide the best support/coverage possible for Bain’s executive staff.



  • Execute local marketing, practice area and alumni activities, on time and on budget, with significant collaboration with local Partner and Executive Assistant (EA) group.

    • Plan and execute local events creating event proposals, internal & external communications, invitation lists, attendee profiles, and post-event analysis reports. Select venues, menus, gifts, and décor, negotiate contracts and manage budget. Ensure relevant alums included.
    • Oversee local mailings, coordinating with partners and EAs to create and maintain recipient database and encouraging broader usage/distribution of Bain content.
    • Manage local inputs to and usage of Bain’s global contact management system (CRM), training and trouble-shooting with local admin staff to ensure up-to-date, comprehensive data and providing reports and analysis on the Bain network on demand, to support business needs.
    • Help drive the local alumni relations program, transitioning outgoing employees into positive Bain promoters by maintaining local alumni database, orienting to alumni resources, planning & executing local alumni events and mailings, and submitting local content to global alumni website & newsletter.
    • Liaise with global public relations team on local media activities, supporting local partners in PR interviews and responsibilities.
  • Support Partners’ relationship development. Work with senior management team to prioritize and gather relevant fact base on local companies and contacts, conduct media monitoring and provide suggestions of relevant Bain thought leadership to share.
  • Support Managers’ networking efforts. Work with local principals, managers and MAs to help management team cultivate relationships with key business contacts, primarily through contact management, client events, education and IP distribution.
  • Contribute to development of annual marketing and alumni plans for local office, working with marketing manager and partner. Help assess local marketing objectives and determine optimal Mix of local marketing activities to meet them. Assist in overseeing alumni and marketing budgets.
  • Serve as marketing contact for all local office employees. Communicate with staff periodically about value and impact of marketing and alumni activities, and the importance of brand consistency, to increase general participation and mitigate risks. Keep local website, marketing collateral, and office marketing materials library up to date.
  • Implement new global alumni and marketing initiatives and contribute to their design by representing local office in regional and global marketing forums and sharing best practices
  • Monitor and report out on progress and results through key marketing/alumni metrics.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned or as responsibilities dictate.



  • Receive, screen and/or route all incoming telephone calls, mail, publications and correspondence, proactively handle questions and information requests.
  • Coordinate calendars and schedule meetings (client and non-client).  Resolve scheduling conflicts as they arise and prioritize issues to ensure an effective time management approach.  Communicate agendas and respond to calendar changes as needed.
  • Organize internal meeting for Partners to include conference room scheduling and ordering/setting up meals.
  • Maintain Partner’s contact list in Outlook and CRM database.  Ensure contacts are resolved and classified appropriately in CRM.  Coordinate Partner’s electronic/print mailings and event activity.
  • Act as an interface for clients and all levels of Bain staff with the Partners, as appropriate.
  • Coordinate detailed travel arrangements with Bain Travel and outside agencies including air, hotel, ground transportation, visas and meal reservations, as business needs and personal preferences dictate (provide travel itinerary).
  • Submit time and expense reports according to established weekly schedules.
  • Type and proof correspondence including letters, memos, documents and reports as requested or as circumstances dictate.
  • Collaborate with other Executive Assistants to provide phone coverage, work coverage and general team support.
  • Support a variety of internal programs and initiatives as required or assigned including organizing case team events, offsite meetings and other company sponsored events.


  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Communications, Business, or related field
  • Minimum of 2 years professional experience, ideally with progressive responsibility in marketing or event related strategy and implementation
  • Clear track record of demonstrating an at-cause mentality and proactively driving improvement across marketing services and processes
  • Consistent track record of delivering strong results, including demonstrated ability to execute multiple projects at once
  • Proven ability to drive issues to resolution and creatively solve problems, seeking out alternative solutions when running into roadblocks
  • Ability to interact and represent Bain professionally and effectively with top executives and their staffs internally and externally
  • Outstanding organizational, analytical, and verbal/written communication skills with meticulous attention to detail
  • Database management and analysis experience
