Overview

The Senior Program Manager, Digital Partnerships role will help our industry and capability practices identify, screen, and scale delivery partners for our digital casework (e.g., automation, digital marketing, machine learning, etc.).

 

The Senior Program Manager will also:

  • Become a sought-after expert for developing and deploying high-impact partnership opportunities across the Digital practice and throughout case lifecycle
  • Stay informed of relevant partner and competitor ecosystems
  • Contribute to prospecting and negotiating strategic partnerships with target partners
  • Evolve role to best align with emerging business impact and PD opportunities
  • Collaborate and team globally with partnership members in APAC, EMEA, and our Digital Practice Leader to set strategy and drive a consistent approach across regions/offices

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Digital Practice Leadership and industry leaders on prioritizing needed partners to deliver work together, and then help to:
    • Source – identify high potential candidates for major use cases
    • Assess – evaluate which candidates might be worth testing/trialing (and with a clear set of criteria and analytics)
    • Scale – assist in the relationship management to take accounts to full potential, inclusive of pricing models, contracts, and outward PR/branding
  • Develop and scale partnerships that differentiate Bain’s products and services, accelerate client results delivery, and add measurable value to Bain’s business (e.g., automation, digital marketing, machine learning, etc.)
  • Define Bain’s approach to scale high potential partnerships in collaboration with relevant Bain practice teams, ADAPT, Next-Gen, Bain Legal, Bain Marketing, TSG, etc.
  • Design and deploy partnership roadmap for high potential partnerships, based on full potential vision and strategy; align internal and external stakeholders on 3/6/12 month milestones and metrics
  • Accelerate internal and external marketing of selected partnerships, in partnership with Bain Marketing
  • Support ongoing deployment of selected partners in proposals and cases, working closely with relevant practice areas and client teams
  • Develop full potential framework and scaling toolkit for use by other partner champions; incorporate in Business Development playbook

Qualifications

  • BA/BS degree required with strong academic achievement, MBA preferred
  • 8-10 years of professional experience
  • Consulting experience strongly preferred (manager level equivalent)
  • Ability to understand the content and expertise in the space across technology trends and their application, with start-up and/or technology experience a plus
  • Creative, practical strategist
  • Intuitive developer of relationships with senior Bain leaders and executives
  • Ability to rapidly absorb and interpret technical information
  • Superior communication and collaboration skills
  • Comfort in juggling a broad set of priorities; strong project management skills
  • Solid organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail
  • Ability to juggle multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Strong process skills of follow up and follow through
  • Superior judgment when dealing with highly confidential information
  • Flexibility to adapt role to evolving business needs
