Overview

The Technology Marketing Coordinator will support the Senior Technology Marketing Specialist in internal marketing strategy & the communication plan for all relevant Global Operations departments. The Coordinator will offer support creating and running internal communication materials of all formats including but not limited to video, email, web, and print.

 

The ultimate goal is the effective communication of key information primarily from the TSG, AAG, Consulting Operations, and NGPM teams to the rest of the company. This includes core departmental information, available products and services, and new offerings as they become available. The content may range from high-level technology vision to detailed product information including basic training messages.

 

This position requires technical literacy, creative marketing design, and project management as part of a cross-departmental team. Applicants should enjoy working with technology and communicating that technology to a wider audience.

 

The position will include coordinating with external vendors.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Senior Technology Marketing Specialist in developing and implementing a comprehensive marketing plan that presents information on existing team products and services to all of Bain
  • Collaborate with the associated teams on the marketing of new product and services, recommend and help create effective and customized campaigns depending on target audience and message
  • Assist the Senior Technology Marketing Specialist with pilots of new products and services, in post-launch phases foster feedback collection and support quantifiable adoption tracking
  • Assist the Senior Technology Marketing Specialist to build and leverage required network of external vendors/service providers, develop innovative, but standardized formats for repeated use at low cost
  • Along with the Senior Tech Marketing Specialist, own the company’s internal marketing calendar incl. current and future projects for better visual alignment/differentiation and chronological coordination
  • Promote usage, benefits, excitement, and productivity gains as part of this plan, using creativity in the channels, formats and content used – email, print, web, video, Sharepoint, etc.
  • Manage the plan’s day-to-day aspects and execution, which may include:
    • Creating and distributing materials in the mentioned formats and channels
    • Personalization and targeting of these materials where possible
    • Tracking product/service usage
    • Assisting with production of training materials
    • Conducting follow-up surveys
    • Incorporating relevant user/team feedback from pilots into future plans
  • Cultivate relationships with each of the associated teams (and potentially external vendors)
  • Stay up-to-date on emerging industry trends and commonly accepted best practices outside Bain. Leverage these for an ongoing review/innovation process of the firm’s communication strategy
  • Ensure that these efforts are aligned with Bain Global Marketing’s vision and design plans
  • Perform other duties as assigned or as responsibilities dictate

Qualifications

  • Relevant bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 1-2 years of marketing experience; 1-2 years of hands-on experience with developing and executing marketing efforts;
  • Video editing a plus
  • High-quality design and communication experience
  • General interest in new technologies used in office work settings
  • Effective collaborator with both non-technical and technical staff
  • Competency and enthusiasm for knowledge-sharing and cross-team collaboration
  • High performance and standards as demonstrated by academic or previous job experience
  • Strong customer service focus
