Contribute as a member of the Global Recruiting team to the strategic design, development and management of recruiting programs for Consultants and Summer Associates on an annual basis for Bain worldwide.


Core School Role

  • Manage the coordination and administration of global on-campus recruiting programs for Consultants and Summer Associates at targeted business schools. Coordinate global activities.
  • Manage the marketing strategy of the company on campus. Contact campus representatives to schedule formal and informal presentations, receptions and dinners. Train and manage on campus representative resource.
  • Lead relationship management process, focusing on identification of priority recruits and facilitating connections with Bain employee
  • Develop and establish relationships with Placement Office Directors at each school and act as a key contact for Bain alumni on-campus.
  • Coordinate candidate selection process at assigned schools. Review and screen candidate resumes with consulting staff. Maintain records/key data from resume review sessions.
  • Coordinate all logistics for campus interviews at assigned schools. Set up interview schedules, run debrief meetings, determine next step decisions and manage communication to candidates. 
  • Coordinate offer and closing process for offerees at assigned school.
  • Assist in the development of school-recruiting budget. Track expenses and flag issues, conduct special budget projects as needed.
  • Support and participate in global/regional recruiting initiatives and projects led by the global recruiting leadership team either as a member of a working team or as the lead on specific projects/ initiatives.
  • Utilize Bain Recruiting System for data entry, event management and reporting.
  • Role may include one or more activities that span more than one school.


Boston office Recruiting

  • Coordinate on-campus recruiting programs for Boston office at targeted business schools. Details include: coordinating logistics for marketing events, recruit communication, leading relationship management process, event staffing, interview logistics and closing process.
  • Arrange second round interviews for the Boston office. Secure interviewers, schedule students, create interview packages, pre-wire, and debrief materials.
  • Coordinate offer and closing process for offerees at assigned schools.
  • Work closely with the Boston team to coordinate all aspects of offeree weekends. Plan program agendas, schedule presenters, manage event logistics, etc.       Attend social events.
  • Evaluate success of recruiting season; conduct and review analysis; use findings to provide input to recruiting programs and strategy.
  • Support coordination of Boston Summer Associate Program. Build calendar of training and events, schedule staffing calls and meetings, manage event logistics, etc. Assist the SA Program team during performance evaluations and final offers decisions.
  • Utilize the Bain system for data entry, event management and reporting. Track application statistics and periodically update recruiting dashboards.
  • Help manage recruiting budget for select schools. Plan & execute events according to the budget.
  • Work closely with other recruiters to plan coverage for joint events, address regional changes/strategies, and share best practices.
  • Perform other duties and projects as assigned or as responsibilities dictate.


  • BA/BS degree required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of campus recruiting experience for a consulting or other professional services firm is strongly preferred; 2 years comparable experience in another field considered.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, project management, and analytical skills.
  • Flexible work-style to manage multiple priorities, meet tight deadlines and manage last-minute changes.
  • Ability to represent Bain to prospective candidates and interact with senior Bain management and school contacts.
  • Ability to work productively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to deal with highly confidential information in a professional/mature manner.
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
